Let us introduce you to Christopher and Eimear King

Christopher is an award winning chef from Ballyconneely, County Galway, who oozes enthusiasm and passion for cooking and food. Having started in a kitchen at a very young age, he has worked in many prestigious restaurants and hotels including Michelin star, rosette star, bistro, 5* hotel resorts and golf clubs.

Christopher studied and trained in Galway Regional Technical College with a team of excellent tutors and trained under some fantastic chefs.

Eimear, is native to Mullagh, very near Spanish Point. Having originally trained as a secondary school teacher, her Bachelor of Arts degree with Psychology from Mary Immaculate College along with a Post graduate in Education, has most definitely attributed to her skills on the floor. Eimear has successfully run front of house for the last 5 years.

Undoubtedly, a night spent with Eimear and her team will be a delightful and memorable experience.

For the last 5 years Christopher and Eimear ran and developed a popular fine dining and unique bistro Kristian´s in Puerto Del Carmen, Lanzarote.

Christopher and Eimear are finally home and look forward to offering you a fantastic and unforgettable experience here in Red Cliff Lodge and Suites, Spanish Point.

Kristian´s became the first non-Spanish restaurant and the first restaurant outside of Spain to represent and participate in the prestigious gastronomy food festival taking place in the island´s old capital, Teguise. People travel worldwide for this event, it was a massive achievement and honor. During their 5 years at Kristian’s Christopher and Eimear published a small book on the story of Kristian’s.

Kristian’s was reviewed in a number of national papers including the Connaught Tribune and the Irish Independent, and the only Irish restaurant to be included in the Spanish Qui Bueno guide for good food.
