Red Cliff Lodge Restaurant and Seaview Suites occupies a commanding position in Spanish Point Co. Clare. This unique property is perched by the cliffs at one of the most beautiful landscapes overlooking Spanish Point beach. The beautifully restored thatched property blends gracefully into the surrounding area with white washed walls and a cobbled stone courtyard.
Originally built in 1840 by local landlord, Thomas Moroney, the house has been beautifully renovated and lavishly furnished. The opulent Sun lounge and relaxed restaurant all boast commanding views; guests can enjoy a glass of wine while they watch and enjoy the last glimpse of the sun setting each evening.
Suites, some of which are also thatched, are arranged in a courtyard style. Unique in their design, these suites offer guests the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful setting in the surroundings of luxury. A unique feature of our suites is the integrated kitchenette in every suite which is ideal for our family and self catering guests.
